This will be my second year as Operations Manager for Star International School, Mirdif and I love being part of the Star Family. Over the course of my day, I get to work with our wonderful admin and site team, amazing teachers, the PTA, and the school leadership team. I’m delighted that my job gives me time to meet many parents and students and share many special moments across the school year.

My degree is in Human Resources and People Development and I also hold additional International qualifications in Health & Safety and Risk Management as well as Dubai Municipality-approved training as a Person In Charge for food operations at the school. 

I work closely with the SLT and ISP teams to continue to develop and improve facilities across the school and am delighted to be working on some great projects which will improve the learning environment for our students across the school.

I’ve worked in the UAE for fifteen years in corporate roles including working as HR Director for Dubai Metro mobilization, co-owner and editor of a digital mazing covering food and travel, and coaching on lifestyle and nutrition.

Outside of school, you’ll find me at home with my two rescue dogs, reading many books and trying lots of Dubai’s wonderful street food, exploring old Dubai, and sipping on plenty of Specialty Coffee.
