Head of Arabic and Islamic

I have been working at Star Mirdif for the past three years, and my current position is AHT - Head of Arabic and Islamic. It is fulfilling to contribute to promoting Arabic and Islamic education in the school.
Regarding my educational background, I hold a Bachelor’s degree from Al Azhar University, Language and translation Faculty in Islamic Studies, which provides me with a strong foundation in the subject matter. Additionally, I have obtained a PGED (Postgraduate Diploma in Education), which has helped enhance my teaching skills.

With a wealth of experience spanning 18 years in the UAE, I have dedicated myself to teaching Arabic and Islamic Education and assuming various leadership positions. Over the years, I have had the privilege of imparting knowledge and values to students, nurturing their understanding and appreciation of Islamic principles and Arabic skills. Additionally, my extensive experience in leadership roles has allowed me to effectively guide and inspire fellow educators, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. The combination of my teaching expertise and leadership experience has enriched my professional journey and strengthened my ability to positively impact the educational landscape.

I have gained valuable experience in leadership through my role as the Head of Arabic and Islamic at Star Mirdif. I have been responsible for guiding and supporting teachers in delivering quality education in these subjects. I am currently in the process of registering for the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), which demonstrates my commitment to further developing my leadership abilities. Furthermore, I am planning to pursue a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership to continue my professional growth.

Reflecting on my journey, I take great pride in the accomplishments my team and I have achieved. Our relentless dedication to enhancing the quality of education in Arabic and Islamic subjects has been validated by the improved results in the KHDA inspection reports. However, it's not just about the numbers.

We firmly believe in the importance of fostering meaningful connections between what students learn in Islamic education and Arabic and their real-life experiences. To achieve this, we continuously implement initiatives that encourage students to apply their knowledge and skills in practical ways. By creating relevant and engaging learning opportunities, we aim to empower students to see the value and relevance of their education beyond the classroom. As we look ahead, we remain committed to nurturing well-rounded individuals who can confidently navigate and contribute to society.I am excited to continue collaborating with my team, exploring new avenues for development, and making a lasting impact on the education system in Dubai and the UAE.
