I am thrilled to share my journey at Star International School Mirdif where for the past five years, I have had the privilege of teaching and I am excited for the new opportunities ahead into my sixth year. I first joined Star International as a class teacher. However, over the years, I have continuously sought opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills that have allowed me to progress within the school, and I am proud to have recently become Assistant Head of EYFS. Being part of the Star family has been an incredible experience. Watching the school develop and grow, benefiting both our dedicated staff and exceptional students, has been truly rewarding. I believe as a school we have the power to ensure that all students in our care are not only happy but also nurtured into successful lifelong learners.

I graduated from the University of Cumbria with a Bachelor's degree in Education which I specialised in Early Years. The knowledge gained from my training has been invaluable in teaching here in the UAE.

Out of school I enjoy spending time going on hikes and enjoy some relaxing at the beach with my Woofa. I also have a passion for fitness and enjoy gym sessions and enjoying movies at the cinema. I occasionally indulge in retail therapy at the mall, although perhaps sometimes a little too much.

As I look ahead to the upcoming year, working with both our current and new families. I am grateful for the opportunities and growth I have experienced at Star International School Mirdif. As I take on my role as Assistant Head of EYFS, I am sure to ensure that every student's journey is filled with happiness, growth and to gain the essential skills needed to be successful in their school life and beyond.
