After an extended period of distance learning, Star International School, Mirdif, brought its community together in the most uplifting way, with a lively community event at Bounce Dubai that reminded everyone what makes the school so special. Bringing the School Community Back Together Over 500 students, families and staff from EYFS to Year 8 met during dedicated time slots for an open invite gathering at Bounce Dubai. While learning has continued safely online, this event created a much-needed opportunity for students, parents, and teachers to reconnect in person, many for the very first time in months. A Day of Connection, Energy, and Belonging From the moment families arrived, there was a renewed sense of energy and belonging. Students embraced the freedom to jump, play, and explore, all under the supportive presence of their parents and teachers. Laughter echoed across the space as friendships were rekindled and new connections formed, not only among students, but between families and staff as well. At Star International School, Mirdif, learning goes far beyond the classroom. This event was a reflection of the school’s commitment to nurturing wellbeing, connection, and a strong sense of community. By creating space for shared experiences, the school continues to prioritise the emotional and social development of every child alongside their academic journey.
